Today was a day I could actually HEAR Michael and Brielle growing

Today was a day I could actually HEAR Michael and Brielle growing. Do you ever have days like that? Where your kids wake up and just look different? Today Michael woke up from his nap and I swear his head looked bigger. This poor guy has a tough job ahead of him growing into this head. 🙂 Some days I go from start to finish without even thinking about how fleeting this stage of motherhood is. How I Document Our Days

A foolproof way to solidify memories in our minds is to relive them. Talk about them. Look at them. Listen to them. Experience them over and over. It’s so powerful! I’ve always felt a desire to document life’s events and life in general. By the time I was eighteen I had an entire cardboard box full of (boooorrrrring) journals. Today I am so grateful for their example. They show me how I want to look at the world. With Wonder. Wonder brings to the surface...

RELAX

Sometimes I feel like mom-hood, and maybe parenthood in general, is kind of a cruel joke. It’s just sometimes THAT HARD. We all have “on” days and “off” days and it’s challenging enough to manage without adding two (in my case) additional humans who are having their own days. And their own moods. And their own accompanying attitudes. And sleep depravation. And whining. I mean, I could list list list and then list some more. Sometimes it’s all so overwhelming...
