Today Brielle asked to see a picture of me when I was a baby.. I had to think about it. I don’t even know where my “baby” book is. At my mom’s house I’m sure, but what condition it’s in and whether it has any “baby” pictures in it, I don’t know.
That won’t be a problem when Brielle’s daughter asks her to see a picture of her. Nope. We have plenty of those to go around. My how times have changed!
I’m so thankful to this little girl for making me a Momma.
Tonight when she was going to sleep she said “Goodnight momma, don’t let the bed bugs bite. And Happy Mother’s Day.” And then: “Wait, we never painted my nails like you said we would!” Ah, yes, no Mother’s Day is complete without a little splash of guilt and disappointment.
